As I've mentioned on my web site I've been involved in St. John Ambulance Theatre Shows in the past, particularly in Theatre Computer Animation using Macromedia Flash. This years show will not have any stage projection, but I am creating a Autocue program, which will be assisting with some of the lyrics. The program will be running on a Linux computer, using hidden screens on the stage. Perl Autocue program for Linux (or Windows) - under development.
Here are the details of the show:
St. John Ambulance volunteers across Warwickshire come together to stage their 10th production. A classic variety show extravaganza, featuring sketches, dances and songs from the worlds best musicals.
The show is on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October 2006.
7:30pm each evening, and Matinee on Saturday only at 2:00pm.
Guy Nelson Hall, Warwick School, Warwick.
